Proposal Guidelines

To ensure a complete application, please include the following:

• Director’s Information: Full name, contact details, and a detailed theatre history highlighting relevant experience.

• Proposed Show: The title of the show, cast details, and a brief synopsis. Please note Lethbridge Musical Theatre currently has the ability to license shows from Concord Theatricals and Music Theatre International, but other licensing bodies may be considered.

• Vision Statement: A narrative explaining your choice of show and the artistic vision you intend to bring to the production.

• Production Requirements: Any special requirements for staging, design, or other aspects of the production.

• Preferred Team Members: If applicable, include any preferred production team members (e.g., stage manager, music director).

• Production Timeline: Outline key dates for auditions, rehearsal start dates, and any other important milestones in the lead-up to the performance period.

• Initial Budget: A preliminary budget outlining anticipated costs for the production (e.g., set, costumes, rights, etc.).

Selection Process

1. Application Review: The Lethbridge Musical Theatre board will review all submissions after the deadline.

2. Interviews: Shortlisted candidates may be invited for an interview with the board to discuss their proposal in more detail.

3. Final Decision: Directors will be notified of the board's decision following the interview process.
